How can I configure country-specific public holidays for an employee?
Calendars are configured in the Settings section, where you define the public holidays yourself.
If you use different calendars for different countries, make sure that the Country specified in the employee’s profile matches the country of the calendar you want to apply. If there is no calendar configured for the employee’s country, the system will use the default calendar.
How can I change an employee from full-time to freelance?
This type of contract change should be made through the dedicated Contract Type widget in the employee's profile. It's this widget that records the change, while preserving the chronology (history) of all previous contract records.
For example, if the employee held the Employee contract type through May 31, you need to close the current record with an end date of May 31, then add a new record — in this example starting June 1 — and set the Contract Type field to Freelancer.
Does the "part-time load" marker affect payroll calculation?
No, it's just a marker to remind you that this employee works full-time and does not affect the salary payout. If an employee has a 50% load, the amount entered should already be the actual pay amount for that load. The only exception is when the employee has a variable salary type with the "pay unscheduled hours" option enabled — in that case, half of the unscheduled hours is paid according to the calendar hours norm for the month.
How do I generate an invoice for an employee and download it?
To generate and download invoices for employees, you need to complete a few setup steps. Each employee has a Payment Method configured for their compensation payout. So you need to go to payment method settings — Company > Settings > Payment Methods — and enable the document template feature. The ITFin system has a default template added, which you can customize as needed if required.
